It may have been stated as "mid 30's" which is basically the same.

It was a statement that I took as a scare consideration to persuade me to vote in favour of the offer.

If management agreed to the offer and thought it would attract other offers the above statement would not have been said.

I believe management wanted the offer to succeed.

Regarding the "pre offer levels of around 35c". The SP was approx. 35 cents for a 2 week period. It was at 60 cents a month prior and looking at the chart appears to have averaged 50 cents over the past year or so.
