My guess is that the presentations at the New Orleans conference will set out in some detail what some / many of us already know about the product.
Will the publication of the results rapidly grow the sales of the product? My view is it will take some time for many cardiac surgeons to consider the product and the circumstances where they might be able to use it for a patient. Then centres of excellence in cardiac treatments will consider using it.
Then now thinking about the private patients (as distinct from public patients), there is the question of surgeons being covered by their medical malpractice / professional liability insurer. All this will take time.
