Currently there is no confirmation that SPX will earn revenue through the utilisation of the full Spenda Suite by Capricorn. At the end of the day Capricorn will want to keep earning the revenue of the B2B transactions from 26,000 members to the 2,000 odd suppliers. How I see it is that Capricorn may just pay a monthly/yearly software license fee for the full suite. However will Spenda get a slice of card transactions or lending? Its unclear. Recent thoughts is that once Capricorn members see the benefits & improvements from the old CapLink system they will want full Spenda Suite integration. Currently members use a wide range of POS. To enable a definite full integration from B2C sales they will require Spenda POS. Capturing 10% of 26,000 Capricorn members B2C transactions is certainly material. Obliviously this will take sometime to roll out.
