hatred of the public service was a feature of Morrison's mismanagement and corruption of govt. only recently were we told that more than A$20 billion was paid to consultancies in the last year of the Morrison govt.

this was just a vignette in the LNP Snout & Trough Festival, which was the reason they were in govt.

so according to the 'logic' of the right, save a $Bn or so by slashing the public service and pay 10x the savings by hiring consultancies that were once part of the public service system.

yeah.... the Libs are real economic managers hey
