Yes… but someone as knowledgeable as Westy9 has left (no disrespect to him) but lingers around to share with us his valuable knowledge (appreciate it!). So knowledge or long term hold are not the only factors.
I think what is not said usually is, people have to make their own investing decisions irrespective of the fundamentals. Some may have taken this opportunity to sell high and buy lower, some may have done tax loss selling or found other better opportunities. We can’t know or judge their motivations and actions.
