There’s literally no hope whatsoever that the business will continue as a viable concern (we know all of its assets - even the non operational ones - will soon be sold)
Is there hope the combined sale price will be so high as to totally extinguish all existing debt - including new debt being accumulated - and leave enough of a cash pile to distribute amongst current shareholders?
I can’t see how that would be possible. Even if the money received is massively greater than the price Allegiance paid for these assets (when coal prices were much, much higher) its doesn’t seem remotely possible.
