    Chuck,

No the problem is that the government in the USA is basically corrupt.

The USA has plenty of laws to take care of its problems. Unfortunately due to corrupt politicians and individuals in the government these laws are not enforced.

FNMA and Freddy Mac regulation is a pefect example. Numerous attemps were made to bring these entities under control, but the legislation failed due to democrat opposition. And every attempt to control them fails.

And here is a perfect example of what I'm talking about:

"Democrats Vote Down 5 Percent Rule...

in a bid to stem taxpayer losses for bad loans guaranteed by federal housing agencies Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac, Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) proposed that borrowers be required to make a 5% down payment in order to qualify. His proposal was rejected 57-42 on a party-line vote because,

as Senator Chris Dodd (D-Conn) explained,

"passage of such a requirement would restrict home ownership to only those who can afford it."

    There you have it folks...

    Stupid is as stupid does!!!"

And another exanple is the BP mess. It appears that the rules were there, but not enforced.

Bernie Madoff? Same situation. SEC staffers were too busy sufring the Internet for you know what.

Illegal Imigration: Rules and laws not enforced.

And as far as Rudd and 'balance' is concerned, sorry, but there is no balance in the type of program that the government is trying to ram down the people's throat.

    It is 100% anti-capitalism, 100% anti-freedom, and 100% socialism.
