May 19 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1945 GMT on Friday:
** Sacyr is negotiating with Spanish firm Bestinver to sell its 45% stake in the Irish motorway N6 and thus fully exit the concessions business in Ireland, two people familiar with the talks said.
** German power equipment and service group Siemens Energy ENR1n.DE is close to selling its minority stake in aSpanish wind turbine towers joint venture to British fund Bridgepoint BPTB.L , two people familiar with the matter said.
** Silver Lake Resources Ltd (SLR) raised its offer to acquire gold miner St Barbara Ltd's (SBM) Leonara assetsin Western Australia for A$722 million ($489.73 million).
** VolkswagenVOWG_p.DE has completed the sale of its Kaluga production plant in Russia and its local subsidiaries,the German carmaker said , ending months of wrangling with Russian authorities over the deal.
** Nasdaq-listed Yandex YNDX.O , often dubbed "Russia's Google", has received bids from Russian billionaires for assets it is seeking to divest in the country that value them at some $14 billion, three people familiar with the matter told Reuters.
** Chinese private equity firm Trustar Capital has hired Citigroup C.N to manage a sale of Hong Kong-based soy sauce maker Amoy Food Ltd, three people with knowledge of the discussions said.
** Brookfield Asset Management BAM.TO will sell two commercial properties in India to a partnership of its locally listed REIT Brookfield India BROF.NS and Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC in a deal with an enterprise value of $1.4 billion.
** The U.S. Justice Department is considering suing to block Korean Air's 003490.KS planned acquisition of Asiana Airlines 020560.KS , Politico reported on Thursday.
** Brazil retailer Americanas SA AMER3.SA said on Thursday it will next week start to seek potential bidders for the acquisition of its Hortifruti Natural da Terra (HNT) business unit.
** Brazilian miner Vale SA VALE3.SA received binding offers for a stake in its base metal unit, local newspaper Valor Economico reported on Thursday, citing unnamed sources.
** Investment advisory firm Edenbrook Capital sent a letter to the board of Canada's Absolute Software Corp ABST.TO saying the deal for the company to be taken private by Crosspoint Capital Partners "significantly undervalues" the firm.
