Please give a possible scenario to support your suggestion that the police acted appropriately when they entered the room of the 95 year old, 43kg woman with dementia.
It was reported that she was tasered first in the chest and then in the back, as she approached them using her walking frame while somehow threatening them with a serrated steak knife.
I should imagine that the meat head responsible gave her the command to "drop the 'weapon' or you will be tasered", which would have meant nothing to her in the state she must have been in at the time.
The nursing home must be bitterly regretting their decision to call in the police but now have to justify that decision or take the consequences.
