why are police getting shot & stabbed on routine work then ? QLD and SA were routine jobs..
checking on the status of several missing persons is routine
checking on a local resident as a result of a nuisance complaint from local employees is routine
right ?
except they didn't take the appropriate precautions of gathering intel, surveillance and community engagement.
police are being attacked in such numbers, as a result of poor strategy and training ( perhaps ) that they become hyper vigilant and a knife wielding granny triggers a disproportionate response
yet the incidents that required disproportionate attention and much larger and perhaps protected force numbers, were approached on foot by officers believing they were doing a routine house call and would just be having a chat on the verandah ?
