The word 'contango' (that not being a futures trader I'd not come across before: apologies for ignorance) is key to a quite good future.
Interesting and topical that NHC mentions 'low season', perhaps a coded message to keep that very much in mind if small retail holders are concerned about today's median price for the various thermal coal grades.
I'll take comments from those more epxerienced in markets like thermal coal but the report implies that a better (financially speaking) period lies ahead, which if true is encouraging.
