I'm always happy for bids to be made as long as they're rejected! The bid allows sellers (eg people nearing retirement) to exit easily even if they have a large position whilst long termers can continue to hold and enjoy the ride up.
Wouldn't be surprised if this is what happens, especially as we get more and more news. I'm guessing the board knows just as well as we do how much growth potential there is here, so I reckon even if a bid is made it won't be approved
