It''s probably easier to set one up than you think. I set up an IBKR account and bought PMET about this time last year. It's not really any harder than setting up a local brokerage or bank account online (a few more questions about your trading experience etc but pretty harmless stuff).

Before that I also bought PMET with my CMC markets Australian account (although the exchange rates and transaction costs are not as friendly on CMC as they are on IBKR but 600% gains on PMET have covered that nicely).

CMC however only allows you to buy on the CSE iit DOES NOT have access to the Toronto Venture Exchange which is where many/most junior exploration companies are listed so for companies like TIE or many of the PMET nearology plays not listed on the ASX you won't find them there and an IBKR account is the way to go. Long before the excitement over the ASX joint listing there was similar excitement and a similar PMET SP appreciation from the venture exchange listing.

I've also seen the TIE.V posts but haven't done any due diligence myself to verify what has been posted. Have you?
