The license has already been extended. For 3 years https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/LYC/02630991.pdf It was extended with the same restrictions that were in place in license before. Lynas has slipped on KAL which if it had stayed on schedule every thing would have been fine. MAL waved those restrictions for 6 months. Lynas has said they will have no problem bringing KAL up to capacity to supply lamp by then. So if Lynas does not slip again MAL does not have to do anything after 6 months.
