sureshaus - this has been an interesting read and here's some further food for thought.

Evolution and creationism both have their flaws as discussed.

    Recently our species mapped DNA.

'DNA has its own language. In fact thousands of linguists have made huge contributions to the Human Genome project by helping to decode the layers of the genetic code. Dozens of linguistic books describe the eerie similarity between DNA and human language.'

It is widespread amongst this community that what we have running through every cell of our bodies is a code. This code is similar to a computer code, only better as it is able to correct it's own viruses via a functioning immune system. 'A protozoa under stress will splice its own DNA into over 100,000 pieces. Then a program senses hundreds of variables in its environment and re-arranges those pieces to produce a new, better, evolved protozoa.' 'Messages, languages, and coded information ONLY come from a mind. A mind that
agrees on an alphabet and a meaning of words and sentences. A mind that expresses both desire and
    intent.'

'Whether I use the simplest possible explanation,
such as the one I'm giving you here, or if we analyze
language with advanced mathematics and engineering
communication theory, we can say this with total
confidence: "Messages, languages and coded information never, ever come from anything else besides a mind. No one has ever produced a single example of a message
that did not come from a mind."'

'Nature can create fascinating patterns - snowflakes,
sand dunes, crystals, stalagmites and stalactites. Tornadoes and turbulence and cloud formations.'

'But non-living things cannot create language. They
*cannot* create codes. Rocks cannot think and they
cannot talk. And they cannot create information.'

'It is believed by some that life on planet earth arose
accidentally from the "primordial soup," the early ocean which produced enzymes and eventually RNA, DNA, and primitive cells.'

But there is still a problem with this theory: It fails to
answer the question, 'Where did the information come from?'

'DNA is not merely a molecule. Nor is it simply a "pattern." Yes, it contains chemicals and proteins, but those chemicals are arranged to form an intricate language, in the exact same way that English and Chinese and HTML are languages.'

'DNA has a four-letter alphabet, and structures very similar to words, sentences and paragraphs. With very precise instructions and systems that check for errors and correct them. DNA is not a random mutation - it is the most complicated code on the planet that we know of.'

    Perry Marshall

Many books have have been written that combine physics, religion and evolution, in an attempt to ascertain where we came from and where we are going.

Some even believe that we may have been seeded by another more advanced race. While this theory seems more sci-fi, it also has some logical merit. Earth is one rocky planet in our solar system. In the Milky Way, our Galaxy, there are billions upon billions of solar systems. Our galaxy is but one of what now seems to be tillions in the known universe. These are very big numbers and the bigger they get, the less chance that we are alone. For me, it's not too hard to comprehend that maybe some other race that could be only 1 or 2 thousand years more advanced than us could have seeded planet earth at some stage. Look how far we have come in such a short space of time. There are many unexplained phenomenas from near death experiences to crop circles etc. But when you consider earth's and our small role in the grand scheme of the universe, it shouldn't be too hard to comprehend that we have never been alone. The human body is an incredile piece of workmanship, albeit still a little flawed in itself. Perhaps the flaws were written in the code of our DNA to give us something to experience and to challenge the very sense of being human. If indeed we were seeded and our DNA coded by another more intelligent race, my question to them would be where did you come from? The plot thickens........one thing I am sure of is that we are not some random mutation. Our code was designed. The jury is out on who exactly is our designer!
