interesting way to make this annoucement. For those not familar Milan was CEO/MD of Straits Resources who purchased the Nifty Operation off WMC back in the late 1990s. Then around 2004 Straits sold the assets to Aditya Birla and if memory serves me correct something like $84m of debt plus cash of $40m for Nifty and Marochydore. Milan has worked this mine previously as a corporate manager of the operation. His skills started at Giriilambone in NSW where Cu heap leaching really took off in Australia in the 90s.... Why not say all this in the annoucement to support his appointment... Its all relevant as he knows the assets from when he was managing them under Straits.
