This is one thing I can agree with you on. I think BRN have put too much stock in "sales" and not enough weight into developing the solutions. AKD1000, great example, does what it does better than anything else, but that doesn't matter because products that do the job already exist and who's going re-design working products for a performance gain but no additional capability. At least AKD1500 addresses that unmet market. You have to be selling the next generation of product.
If the solutions are self-evidently fantastic, you don't need a sales team. The product (licenses) sells itself. And once the license agreement is inked, it's up to the licensee to integrate BRN into final products and sell them to the end customers.
For the licensee, they need solid technical support from BRN to help with integration issues. Not a sales team.
