Unfortunately this is a bear market and in bear markets shorts make money betting on the way down. It's frustrating but IMO only a TO, or at least a rejection of a TO (like LTR), will move the SP to a normal level ATM.
With so much instability globally and in the USA in particular (IMO the result of electing a left wing Marxist ideology) we just have to wait. This has been/is a rather protracted bear market but a bull market will return at some point. I do not think anyone here would even imagine that in 2 years let alone 5 we will still be $1 right?
