Yes QLD coal royalties were increased as were WA iron ore royalties back 10 years ago.Western Australia has since further increased its iron ore fines royalty rate to 6.5% in 2012-13 (and 7.5% for 2013-14 onwards, matching the iron ore lump royalty rate).
