We should all be a little sceptical of government "experts"
IMHO. My favorite example of this is Spindletop in Texas. The poor fellow who wanted to drill Spindletop had his financial backers develop cold feet. They consulted the Texas State Geologist, who advised them "there is no oil anywhere in Texas". His backers withdrew. Others drilled Spindletop later, and discovered a giant oilfield!
Focus is now rewriting history!
