We tipped out Gough in the 70s when he wanted to buy back the farm.
Had Norway done the same as us then , they would be in the same pridicament as us now; trillions of dollars of resources shipped with the average stiff having bugger all to show for it!
I know that you will say "what about all the work they gave us"?
If you want to look at it from the point of view of work benefits that resource companies provided in the interim, then I guess you ought to have an ideology to go with it.... a working class idology... which supports taxation and rental income on resources that we, including the working class, own.
Perhaps philosophy is not an issue for the nuveau-rich and associated hip pocket attitudes!
