Not sure they can legally do that. If AWE buy the GS 6% at 61 cents they are obliged to offer that price to all. This silly buggar approach was tried in the takeover of Cultus many years ago and the takeover merchants had to pay shareholders ( I was one ), who had sold at the firsr takeover price, the difference.I received a nice cheque in the mail. IMO GS are being opportunistic and probably haven't even contacted AWE at this stage. I do agree with Sushi in that I doubt ADI will survive. I predict a higher offer, unfortunately well short of the true value and I for one will sell as I have a significant profit even at 40 cents.I have other places to move my capital and will not hold much beyond July.Good luck to holders .In a normal market $1 + should have been achievable. The only chance now is if we can attract one of the US companies who recognise the value of the Eagle Ford.I am a relative newcomer and long termers like the Agent and Nursery deserved better!.
