    The diversity thing can go too far. I noticed that there are no male interns. This is blatant wokeness and discrimination by definition. On a BHP site I've witnessed the effects of their 50/50 male to female campaign, particularly in their mechanical apprenticeship scheme. It's not good. Very high quitting rate amongst the girls who decide after a few months that 'it's not for them'. Animosity amongst the workforce because the guys didn't get the red carpet rolled out for them and guys having to carry the weight of others. When CTM boasts of only having female interns, they've inadvertently crushed the dreams of a young man that may have been more suited. Having said that, there are many capable women in mining that I have worked with. But if CTM is driving for 50/50, it will be at the expense of shareholders.
