This is the premier nickel development project in Australia.If you are attending Diggers and Dealers 2023 or in Kalgoorlie during the event, we welcome you to express your interest in joining us on this four hour field trip on Wednesday 9 August 2023, back in time to enjoy the Diggers and Dealers Gala Dinner.Ardea representatives will include Andrew Penkethman - Managing Director / CEO, Matt Read - Project Director, Mike Miller - GM Technical Services and Darren Howe - Geology Superintendent.The KNP site tour will include:
Pickup at the front of the Goldfields Art Centre, Cheetham St, Kalgoorlie, (Diggers and Dealers venue), at 1pm sharp.
A four hour round bus trip with the first stop at Ardea’s West Kalgoorlie Operations Office to review drill core and to discuss the factors that have formed this unique and globally significant deposit.
Visit highlights:
Drive through the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder to appreciate the infrastructure, supportive community and quality services available.
A stop at Slug Hill, the occurrence of Walter Williams Formation, the unique ultramafic rock that weathers to high grade nickel-cobalt-scandium laterite.
Several stops at Goongarrie to see and discuss the resource and the compelling development plan defined by the 2023 Preliminary Feasibility Study to deliver a globally significant producer of sustainable and ethical nickel-cobalt-scandium mineral supply.
Key ESG considerations incorporated into the project development plan, including in-pit tailings disposal.
In depth project and industry insights from your four hosts who have >120 years of combined resources sector experience.
