To be honest, the thing I liked the most about the anouncement, besides the CV of the incoming CEO, was that he was happy to take 5,000,000 options exercisable at 68.5c. I think he'd be looking to multibag that.
The $300kpa is reasonable for the position. It is a good deal for shareholders.
Congratulations to DR. Well deserved success and now some extra time to enjoy to spoils of his success. He still has plenty tied up here so will be a great asset as a non-exec director going forwards.
