I think you will find that the small orders are the result of robot programs - algorithmic trading, call it what you will.
Others here know a lot more about how they work than I do - but they are very frustrating when they seem to be accumulating and holding price in a tight range until they get/sell enough.
This is a swing chart and we would seem to have a trend trying to form - see the notations.
The Volume tells the story on this weekly - not much buying interest at all since the end of April - see the on balance volume (pink line).
No position but I hold CXY - similar problem there :(
