Mr Paterson will likely become a Billionaire out of this company which is good for him..... and good for us.
I have mixed feelings about the issuing of exorbitant numbers of options at a price below current market price although can see it from both sides. Typically I am very against it although Mr Paterson has worked hard and led and organized the team of engineers/doctors who have come up with, what is in my opinion, one of the greatest (if not the greatest!) inventions and pieces of technology in the history of cardiac surgery.
