Well, that was a nice week for ADO. Congrats all for that bit of a long awaited bump!
First, apology if this has been posted before.
This is an update to the Queensland Government Battery Discussion Paper released early this year for comment / feedback, which closed in March.
It appears that the Queensland State Government has now taken its findings and incorporated the findings from its 'Battery Discussion Paper' into an overarching strategy document (known as) the "Queensland New-Industry Development Strategy". It was always the case that the 'battery' strategic directions would be incorporated into a more overarching strategic document.
This was announced / released on 18 May (last week) by Premier -

To manage expectations - there is no specific reference to Anteotech as a beneficiary of anything from this strategy.
There are references to developing a 'made-in Australia battery precinct' in partnership with the Australian Government of up to $100M. The Labour Government does have a commitment to invest in development of such a precinct(s) but not sure of the status of doing so in Queensland. Also, not sure what this could mean for Anteotech, others may be able to summise more from this.
There is a specific reference to funding of a project / industry (ie: alumina), and a new energy and storage technology hub at QUT, but from what I could see nothing specific for Anteotech.
I don't believe the absence of a specific reference to Anteotech means we will not benefit, I just don't know what it means either way.
