It is fact that a director is not obligated to communicate with shareholders.
However, shareholders elect directors.
They would be well served to elect directors who choose to communicate well with shareholders.

Moreover, IOU's previous directors have not communicated well.
This has lead to problems within the company - as shareholders were not aware of happenings in the company, and could not, thus, remove the poor directors before it was too late.
