if he did it was to a pre arranged buyer it wasn't at the bid/offer at the time and it was in one go. Pretty sure that means it wasn't on market. I assumed that was more likely someone moving shares between accounts? Merchant maybe? I'm sure someone with more experience would likely have a better idea.
