Why the WHO's latest 'power grab' threatens democracy
A parliament that doesn’t want to lock down millions of people for 270 days could be viewed as breaking international law under the WHO proposals.
World Health Organisation director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus delivers a speech.Bureaucrats, whose job it is to find public health risks, will naturally have a bias to find them.
“If you don’t want to live in a sort of international fascist state you should be fairly worried,” said David Bell, an Australian scientist who worked for eight years at the WHO.He is right, not because fascism also comes with a socialist centralists, collectivists big authoritarian government model and we should be worried; I think terrified, might be a better word. Simply because the WHO's power grab, has its roots in international Marxist utopianism and the tactic of tearing the old down before rebuilding it. And, we know how well that rebuilding worked for the people that lived under Mao, Pol Pot, Stalin, Castro and that live in today's Venezuela.
The fact that Tedros Ghebreyesus was a member of the the Tigray People's Liberation Front; not exactly know for being a conservative or centre right party, says plenty. So does the fact António Guterres was a Secretary General of the Portuguese Socialist Party. Then, simply look to the UN's agenda and its "achievements" that have made things so much worse for western democracies that have been silly enough to sign up to these lost cause wealth redistribution programs, like its authoritarian demands we conform to "net zero".
