Why does China do this? well it eliminates competition which gives China a larger market share.

It's a text book China play for commodities just look at rare earths and what it did with nickel pig iron.

All China / Indo need to do is flood the market with HPAL nickel get the price down to $15k per ton and it eliminates most competition while at the same time they will still make record breaking profits.

Had QPM been faster to market it might have been able to put up a battle and if it can get to market before China / Indo can do this. It might still stand a chance.

But people need to realise China can replicate these hpal plants anywhere in the world for 1/3 the price of a DNi plant which produces 3x the nickel. (With a 2yr build time)

Qpm still has a chance but imo the window is narrowing and Qpm can't afford to waste any more time.

Whaaat!?! If China can replicate HPAL plants at 1/3 the price of a DNI plant whilst producing 3x the nickel, how could QPM ever compete!?!

How could GM, POSCO, LG, the Queensland Government and the Federal Government have been so stupid! They should have just consulted PieChart here and saved themselves the money and trouble.
