Imo this has undoubtedly been already greeted with approving nods from the French govt in particular (which wields one of the biggest EU sticks behind closed doors given the current composition of the Commission). This JV paves the way for EU lenders to offer preferential rates and for the public funds to now kick in, all of whom will be quietly but insistently encouraged to support the Low Carbon transformation not just for European EV consumers but for the retention of French automaker jobs & industry itself.
The Stellantis link imo is now one of Vulcan’s key backbones and in time I think they will prove to be a critical determinant of its ultimate success. Très bien!
