Grantaxl - not a very good comment and in fact down right selfish. I personally am very angry about the oil spill and I feel for all Americans. This is a tragedy for the world, not just because it is off the coast of USA. The spill has already shown the industry needs more regulation and so it doesnt need to get bigger, it just needs to be stopped before is has the reverse effect in the long term. And personally I do not think Christian Lange is smiling about all this. He would be just as concerned as the rest of us but he would see the advantage of his company and his Underwater Welding to make sure this type of accident never happens again. The BP disaster though was not caused by poor maintenance but too many chiefs thinking of money first and not listening to the experts.
