This is quite exciting Sentia717.
The rich WD lode appears to have terminated quite suddenly for Ramelius when they mined out the WD resource. It makes sense that it was possibly offset by the spargoville shear zone. So where did the extension to the rich ore body at WD actually go? Obviously there has been a considerable amount of thought and analysis by the MXR team and the expert structural geo. All the drilling looking for the ore body extension seems to have largely been done to the East due to the prevailing economic model with no luck. Perhaps the orebody actually lies to the west as theorised in the new geological interpretation of the WD area and the implications of the Sargoville shear zone?
This round of drilling is to test their geological model. Should the MXR team find evidence to support their model and some geochemical signatures of the WD lode being to the west then this could get very interesting. If they were able to actually find the lode then it would be a company making discovery as it was for Ramelius in the past.
Let's see what the drills tell us but I like the analysis and direction management have taken with this round of drilling.
