Is Jerko holding out for a much bigger and better deal that we can possibly get once continuous state operation consistently achieving battery grade has been confirmed? Many companies do rather pay a bit extra if it is de-risked.
Good thing is at least AGY are getting onto the scene, getting noticed as a producer of BG Li, while earning their stripes how to transition from an explorer to a producer - selling product every month with everything that entails (production, procurement and shipment of materials in and out, QA, WHS, admin, sales, invoicing, cashflow, etc).
People should not underestimate how hard it is to become a proper functioning commercial company. I submit that these challenges are often overlooked with all the focus solely on production. At 17.5t and $52.5/t that's now ~$1M in revenue generated. Not bad!
Many parallels to PLS come to mind. They are now a $13B mc company! Let's execute well and we can get there too!
