Definitely agree, way too many people invest in small caps hoping to be made into overnight millionaires, not realising it often takes years and even decades to see your effort pay off (though when it does it is all worth it). There is always lots of pain investing in the smaller end of town, but that pain equates to far bigger gains than you could get anywhere else. Most people fail to succeed investing in small caps not because the risk outweighs the gains, but because their driven by emotions to sell whenever prices fall and wait for prices to rise in order to buy.
