How many of the so called 'investigative journalists' have ever experienced- front line war- an enemy that wants to 'kill you AND -Judges for that matter! How would react if you knew the next 'bullet' from the unknown human who looks OK . Disabled full of explosives !- From nowhere may take you down. How would you be thinking................. it would play on your mind and make you do things 'in a perfect world - back home' - you would regret ?? There is no training from anyone who can tell you -exactly- what to expect. The enemy - is the enemy and will kill first,

Myself I do not condone any wrong doing ---------however there are 3 sides to a story- one side - the other side and in the middle the truth.

My wife's side of family lost a young one in the Veit - War... before he left on his last trip he said '.....I am frightened... I do not know what the enemy looks like..my training tells me to -kill- but I do not know which one Why am I asked by the (Govt)...........He died in an APC with many other Aussies. We suffered a bit mentally (piss weak- but never sought to discuss we had a solid family backing - no P'sycos for us) - before he left he said ' I think I will go AWAL' -- we encouraged him to go as in an in depth discussion - shame of such action was paramount .....Now ... we cannot believe what we thought.....The real criminals --you make your own mind ?????

We plebs have no bloo.y idea what our Forces go through..................... but we expect them to be the -best - finest- courageous-killers- ???????

Journalists are promoted on their stories............ Where do they get their evidence? . Love to see some of them on the front lines - with guns to kill!

I have no idea of the real situation I will read the transcripts -- but by doing so nothing will change what happened. From what has been put forward...Has anyone asked....in a similar situation possibly facing an oncoming bullet from- the family that looks OK ? ? ? ? - - WHAT WOULD YOU DO ?. We may never actually know. There are those brave - uncertain- and cowards, the latter maybe not so when one's life is on the line !

Maybe we should - I do not know- how many of our troops, being a human being - returning from the front line forced to possibly 'kill another human being' -----------------what do they suffer?

I have said exactly that and for a long time now. Oz sends it troops to places like Afghanistan: green on blue attacks; suicide bombers; IED's; 46 Australian deaths to Oct 21; multiple amputee casualties etc

Leave our soldiers alone! As far as I'm concerned they are beyond any criticism. If you want to send them to a war zone where the rules do not apply, away from their friends and family, don't be surprised if a few of them are tipped over the edge.

Those that do criticise are most likely sipping lattes in their favourite cafes while our glorious soldiers are doing their best to stay alive. There wouldn't be one person in Australia that wouldn't want our soldiers to pull out all stops if it was their lives in danger. Think about that.
