I think the whole "we don't know where the EPA process is at" chatter is a bit misguided. I don't think it is actually a good idea to make announcements saying "The EPA received updated submissions 4 months ago" or however long it might be, as you could be seen to be trying to apply pressure, or influence the process. I can't remember investing in a developer that gave blow-by-blow commentary of approval processes.
