Buying back shares ya think?? That will leave them with no cash by FY 2012. This is at least 10 years before they will be cash flow positive.
The best thing that could could happen from here would be to split Orbital up. Give all existing shareholders ALL shares is a listed vehicle that owns the 42% of Synerject currently owned by Orbital. We would give all the cash currently on hand to Terry and his crew and wish them well. I think only then we would have a hope of not only positive year on year growth of the business but also SHARE PRICE GROWTH.
If we continue the way we are its not going to matter if we have 5 or even 10 million flowing back to Orbital from Synerject. Orbital is a proven performer in disapointing on forecasts, burning cash and posting losses year after year. We even have a forecast of a 3-4 mill profit for next FY (forgive me if have misqouted this) which is made possible from a 7.7 mil restructure from a loan. WOOPYDOO. It really means Orbitals actual trading losses are accelerating.
But hey why dont we go out and try and buy something and in the process double the share base thus destroying an already demoralised share price. What logic do we have here? Shouldn't we be trying to establish consistent and actual positive earnings and profit? Then with money coming into the bank options suddenly appear. And believe me they actually do.
Thats only my opinion though. I am just cranky with myself for believing the same crap year after year after year for about 7 years and now it time to call it a day.
