Paddy's Lode a fantastic discovery even if it starts at around 200m but it will be even better if it continues into the shallower oxide, free-milling gold zone at Youanmi. That zone has a very high recovery rate from a standard CIL mill. Metallurgical testing of both oxide and fresh RC samples confirm excellent recoveries of up to 99.8% through conventional processing methods (ASX: RXL 03/02/2021). If Rox find enough oxide gold they would have to rethink the concentrate production model in their Scoping Study. They would probably go for a CIL mill with an Albion circuit. But even if Paddy's Lode is not in the oxide zone at least part of it is certainly in the Fresh transition zone which is only mildly refractory. An extra step of fine crushing the gold ore and a standard CIL mill will process it with a very high recovery rate. Paddy's Lode could have an exceptionally low AISC and in turn that means a high cash flow.
