very different operating models..RFG's main earnings was huge franchise fees and big mark-ups on stores and products to mainly one or two store franchisees....whilst YUM hold a lot of power I don't believe they rip off their franchisees ...it may have held together for longer ( say covid) if it were not for the ABC , Fairfax duo...but they were a bit too ruthless
The chicken and other products come out a retail level at a competitive cost...mind you your comment does serve to remind us that people investing here should read the agreement between Yum and CKF.
