Honestly this feels like a board which struck gold at the depths of desperation in 2014 and now they're left with naught else since they've clearly no developed any succession plan.
Succession planning is a huge deal on family farms, not sure how MA missed out on this memo - but that failure is just as much his imho.
Reckon this sweetheart retention deal is probably been juiced because of the hammering the share price has taken because they think he's got a golden touch.
