The only person doing well out of this company is the person who shorted the company more than 3 years ago and maintained that position of around 2m.
They also maintain their shorted position in cnq albeit at a lesser %. I am not a supporter of shorting but I thought that there is a limited time on a shorted contract. I am always suspicious about this particularly company's shorts and wonder if it is shares on loan from a major holder. All the talking up on this thread has no impact on the position. While I am a bolted on supporter of SRL I am somewhat cynical of some of the larger shareholders. Maybe the end result will be along the same line as PGM sale to Rio Tinto. In the meantime is is hard lifting my sentiment to buy
