You do know with coal gas & nuclear - the remaining plant online line can be ramped up for this exact contingency.
How do you ramp up wind or solar.....
Not replacing gas with batteries - why not??? Because GAS is CHEAPER than battereis - if it wasn't market forces would push forward....not happening is it.
