No need to apologise to Pinch imo. He obviously thought better of the idea but we were already talking about it.
They’ve not addressed the issue he referred to; and by omission they’ve left me with the impression that he is correct. They will not need to address that until later when Boeing submit. I’m not fussed of that potential delay in actual approval. This is not going to run into a brick wall.
So, the lower ‘failure gap’ remains, but today it has gapped up again. This is the gap we will look to when and if shit happens next time. I’m happy enough with the update, but still think final AMOC will be delayed throughout most of the next qtr.
