What I can't get my head around is how ? When this Project was first looked at by Ashton in May 1992 they recognised that there was a problem with Radiation in the Pit, and accordingly limited any Mine Worker to no more than 30 days per annum !
What Changed ? Did they raise the safe exposure limits or recalibrate their instruments, they certainly did not change the Ore !
Amazed that the AWU and the WA Mines Department have not picked up on this, there again they work in Perth, and not at the site !
