    My guess is that Yuval's test bench is designed to work with chips that aren't combined with the ASIC. The demo boards will be used for gen2 chips, not worth installing gen1 chips on them. Also, remember the recent demo was done to demo specific aspects of the chips, i.e. quality comparison to speakers used in phones/laptops, and to show that the algorithm fix for the noise issue works.
