always was? sadly your version of always only means a insignificant fraction of the time the place was called home by first australians, and was known by K'Gari. That name has rightly been restored, and the name of some Scottish woman who was shipwrecked on the place nearly 200 years ago and taken care of by the locals, has been erased as it should have been 200 years ago. Another step in the right direction to right the colonial wrongs, and accept the reality of this nations past.
