One of the best ways to get in a festive mood in Ukraine is to start a day with a hearty beautiful meal. While there are dozens of dishes to have for breakfast in Ukraine, I would love to talk about one of the most popular and favorite breakfasts for children and adults ‘syrniki’. The name comes from the word cheese and means cottage cheese fritters or One of the cities where you can try the variety of syrniki is Lviv. There, you can find them with coconut and banana filling, with chocolate and apricots, pear and syrup, berries, whipped cream, melted chocolate, and various jams.
